Presentations, Panelists & Guest Speakers:
Morning Program:
- 9:00AM – Annika Ramnath, Director of Research and Polling at Florida Watch’s Communications and Research Hub.
- 10:00AM – Nikki Fried, Chair of the Florida Democratic Party, former Florida Commissioner of Agriculture and Ruth’s List Alumna.
- 11:00AM – Shannon Watts, founder of Moms Demand Action, who will moderate a panel of four inspiring first-time women candidates from the Tampa Bay region: Kyandra Darling, Aileen Rodriguez, Daniela Simic, and Stephanie Vazquez.
Lunch service will begin at 12pm, followed by:
- 12:30PM – Remarks by Tampa Mayor Jane Castor
- 1:00PM – A panel featuring pro-choice Democratic women serving in the Florida House: Representative Lindsay Cross, House Democratic Caucus Leader Fentrice Driskell, and the newly-elected Representative Emily Gregory of Palm Beach County. This discussion will be moderated by attorney, legal analyst, podcaster, and former MSNBC anchor Katie Phang.
