Highlighting Barbara Girtman

Barbara Girtman is a fourth generation DeLand resident, and a recognized community leader focused on advocating for civic engagement and business opportunities in DeLand and Volusia County.

Barb volunteers on the board for the Rotary Club of Deland, Beacon News, and the Greater Union Life Center, a religious-based community nonprofit organization.

She is also an appointed member of the City of DeLand’s Economic Development and Strategic Planning Committees as well as a member of the Krewe of Amalee and Nouveau.

She is relentlessly positive and seeks to inspire others to be the change they want to see.
