To commemorate the 100th anniversary of women gaining the right to vote, we are initiating a small membership fee of $100 per calendar year.
As you are aware, we are in the middle of a movement at a pivotal time in our country’s history. More than ever, women are making history all across the United States.
Our newly elected women are doctors, lawyers, activists, teachers, veterans, moms and millennials. They are as dynamic and diverse as the districts they represent. Women who had never run before stood up for their communities and won. They helped to take back the U.S. House and, in Florida, elected the first woman to the position of Commissioner of Agriculture and Consumer Services.

Ruth’s List Members are fierce, focused and fervent in supporting our mission to identify, recruit, train, mentor and elect Democratic pro-choice women to all levels of office in Florida. A Ruth’s List member is a feminist.
Currently, Democratic women hold only 18 percent of elected office in Florida. Yet, we are 51 percent of the population! Whaaaat?????
