Campaign Fellows

Ruth’s List Florida seeks Campaign Fellows to support the mission of Ruth’s List to increase the number of pro-choice women elected at all levels of Florida government. Ruth’s List helps women run inspiring, local campaigns that WIN. We identify, recruit, train, mentor and elect pro-choice women to all levels of office in Florida. Since 2008, we have raised over $9,500,000, elected over 300 women to state and local office, and trained more than 2,700 women. But our work has only just begun.

We are seeking Campaign Fellows to assign to our top races in Florida, where we can help support our endorsed women candidates get over the finish line in November. This program will run from June 1st to November 3rd (election day). The fellowship launches with a 4-week virtual campaign training program held in June. For the month of June, fellows must commit to 6 hours per week for virtual on-the-job training sessions. Upon completion, each fellow will be assigned to a Ruth’s List-endorsed candidate’s campaign, where you will assist with field organizing, fundraising, digital support, research, and more. Once assigned to a campaign in July, it will require a 10-hour weekly commitment, which may include evenings and weekends. Young women from across Florida will be selected, trained, and participate in every aspect of campaigning while gaining real-world experience in critical political campaign support.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE FELLOW:

  • Attend the 4 week, 6 hours a week, campaign fellowship training program, starting June 1.
