For more than 30 years, Gepsie Metellus has been serving her community as an educator, community activist, and civic leader, most recently as the co-founder and Executive Director of the award-winning non-profit Haitian Neightborhood Center Sant La. This community work has earned her numerous accolades, including Women of Impact, In the Company of Women, Miami ICON, Outstanding Americans by Choice, and MCCJ Humanitarian, among others.
